Anish Patel
Anish Patel spent seventeen years building the kind of product and operations machines that quietly reshape industries. He co-founded FYLD, an AI-native platform now deployed across global infrastructure, energy and utilities. DreamWave is his first novel — what happens when an insider turns the lens on his own industry and writes down what he's actually seen.

The product operator who started writing it down.
Anish Patel didn't come to fiction from an MFA. He came to it from seventeen years of building operating systems for industries that run the physical world — energy grids, utilities, transport, critical infrastructure.
As co-founder and CPO/COO of FYLD, he helped scale an AI-native platform now used by tens of thousands of field workers, embedded inside the operations of some of the largest infrastructure companies on the planet. Along the way he sat in the rooms where AI stops being a slide and starts being a decision — about people, risk, and what gets measured.
DreamWave began as a thought experiment between meetings: what happens when the same playbook we use to optimise field operations or develop deep data science gets pointed at the inside of a human head? The thought experiment didn't stop. The novel is the result.
He writes about founder culture, ambition, and the quiet architecture of systems that end up running us. He still ships product on weekdays.
